Valkin Biosystems was founded by Australian physiotherapist Jonty Durrheim after recognising an opportunity to bring rhythm into a simple wearable format for everyday walking.
Jonty's experience in human movement helped inform the original concept, while development of The Movement Belt has involved collaboration across industrial design, electronics, engineering and product development.
From its beginnings in the Hunter region of New South Wales, Valkin Biosystems is building The Movement Belt for a broader Australian market, with a focus on thoughtful design, responsible commercialisation and technology that can be used in real-world environments.
The Movement Belt is Australian designed and currently progressing toward commercial availability.
